Earth Day (April 22) is being celebrated with an all-electric car show on Saturday, April 16, at the Downtown Jacksonville sports complex.

The show will run from noon to 4 p.m. at TIAA Bank Field’s Lot J, across from Daily’s Place. It’s being organized by JEA’s Drive Electric.

At last check almost 100 EV owners had signed up to show their cars.

Several area automotive dealers will also be on hand offering test drives of the latest EVs.

Arcimoto, Duval Ford, Tom Bush VW/Mazda/BMW/MINI, Audi Jacksonville, JTA, Jenkins Hyundai, Lakeshore Bicycles, North Florida Clean Fuels Coalition and the North Green Chamber are among the exhibitors expected to be there, according to JEA’s Drive Electric page.

The Florida Tesla Enthusiasts car club is also expecting a sizable turnout.

I’ll be there representing evrider.tv and the EV Rider YouTube channel with my family’s Mini Cooper SE EV. I would love to meet you and hear your EV story, or answer any questions regarding EVs.

For more information about the EV car show, see this JEA Drive Electric page.

The list of car owners that had signed up to show their EVs was accurate as of Wednesday afternoon, April 13.

For any EV owner that needs to charge, WJCT Public Media, across the street from TIAA Bank Field, does have a ChargePoint station with two charging outlets that each put out 6.6kW.

WJCT is located at 100 Festival Park Ave.
