EV Rider has passed more than 2 million video views, and in an average month, more than 21,000 of you tune in. Thanks for making EV Rider a success!
Given this latest milestone, it seems like the perfect time to launch the EV Rider Podcast.
While EV Rider is best experienced on big 4K TVs, I get that not everyone has time for television or watching on a smartphone, PC, or tablet. That’s why EV Rider is now available in podcast form on YouTube Music. You can now stream EV Rider as video or audio just about anywhere, including in the car or on the motorcycle, thanks to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Plus, Tesla also supports YouTube Music.

If you don’t already have it, install the YouTube Music app. Then scan the QR in this post or click here. That will automatically launch the EV Rider podcast channel. Next, be sure to touch “Save to library” so it will be quick and easy to find the next time you open YouTube Music.
Now, whether you’re running, walking, or driving, you can still keep up with EV Rider. You can start it out as a video on your smartphone and then continue it as an audio podcast in the car or when you put your phone away for whatever you’re doing. You can even get it on smartwatches or download the MP3s for offline listening in YouTube Music.
For my longtime viewers, I’ve put together a music video (see the video at the top of this post) to say thank you to many of you that I’ve met along the way.
I appreciate all of you watching EV Rider. Here’s to many more adventures in EV motoring.

Questions & Answers
Q: How do I watch or listen on YouTube music?

A: TOUCH THIS LINK and select Save to Library. If you don’t have the app, install YouTube Music from the Apple or Android app store, then TOUCH THIS LINK and select Save To Library. If you’re viewing this on a PC you can also scan the QR at the bottom of this page. Note: YouTube Music search is unreliable. To ensure you can get to EV Rider easily, be sure to save it to your library.
Q: Can I listen to EV Rider my car?
A: Yes! Android Auto and Apple Car Play support YouTube Music. Cars that use the Android Automotive operating system (GM, Volvo, etc.) also support YouTube Music. So does Tesla’s infotainment system. If you have a car that doesn’t directly support YouTube Music you can still stream EV Rider to your radio or infotainment system from your smartphone via Bluetooth or an audio connection. Save EV Rider to your smartphone’s YouTube Music library for quick access in the car.
Q: Can I download the podcasts for later offline viewing or listening?
A: Yes!
Q: Can I listen or watch EV Rider on other podcasting platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.?
A: No. YouTube Music does not allow podcasters to share content hosted by YouTube with other podcasting platforms.
Q: Why?
A: Major podcasting platforms such as YouTube Music and Spotify are trying to keep audiences on their native platforms, while traditional podcasters and hosting services encouraged distribution across competing services with RSS feeds. Since EV Rider’s library of content is hosted and monetized on YouTube it is currently financially impractical to make an RSS feed available since a second copy of every episode would have to uploaded to a separate company’s server, which would require additional work and expense.
Q: Are podcasts on YouTube Music free?
A: Yes, YouTube Music podcasts have been confirmed as free on major platforms such as iPhone, Apple CarPlay, Android smartphones, Android Auto and Apple and Wear OS smartwatches. EV Rider has not verified other platforms such as Tesla or Garmin smartwatches.
