It’s time to add a jolt to your java because EVs will be on display on Electric Avenue at Caffeine & Octane Jacksonville on Saturday, October 14 from 8 to 11 a.m. at The Avenues mall at 10300 Southside Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32256.
It’ll be a great opportunity to talk to EV owners and learn more about what Ford CEO Jim Farley calls a “once-in-a-century” turning point for the automotive industry.
EVs and PHEVs will be on display, including BMWs and MINIs from the Tom Bush family of dealerships along with the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning from Duval Ford.
Among the private EVs on display will be a converted 1974 VW Super Beetle that has been turned into a unique Florida Swamp Buggy, complete with Tesla batteries.
EV motorcycles are also welcome on Electric Avenue. To get the best parking spot plan on arriving by 7:30 a.m. since Caffeine and Octane always fills up fast. In total more than 500 classic cars, exotics and EVs are expected.
EV owners: when you arrive tell the attendant you have an EV to display at Electric Avenue and you’ll be directed to the proper lot. Participants are asked to keep their EVs on display until 11 a.m. Here’s the official Gate Pass for the Electric Avenue section that you can show the attendant:
