Thanks To Everyone Who Came To Electric Avenue!

Thanks To Everyone Who Attended Electric Ave. (Event Has Concluded)

Feb. 12, 2023 Update: I enjoyed getting to meet all of you at Drive Electric North Florida’s first Electric Avenue event at the Feb. 11 edition of Caffeine & Octane. Our next show is being planned for sometime in April at the University of North Florida. Watch the EV Rider Facebook page for details.

Here’s a slideshow from the Feb. 11 show, including many of the EVs that were on display at Electric Ave. The slideshow appears courtesy of Deremer Studios.

Original Post: Join us for the roll out of the Drive Electric North Florida chapter where we’ll have an Electric Avenue filled with EVs at the Feb. 11, 2023 Caffeine & Octane Jacksonville from 8 to 11 a.m. at The Avenues mall at 10300 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32256.

We’re taking another step toward a zero-emission future with the launch of the new initiative that is part of Drive Electric Florida

Here at EV Rider, we’re proud to be a founding member of Drive Electric North Florida, which will have its kick-off event at Caffeine and Octane on February 11th.

I’ll be there with my Ford Mustang Mach-E and we’ll have an Electric Avenue set up at Jacksonville’s largest monthly gathering of automotive enthusiasts.

More than a thousand classics, exotics and EVs in total are expected, making it the perfect place to showcase all the performance and packaging advantages that EVs offer.

If you’ve got an electric car, pickup, SUV or motorcycle, I hope you’ll join us and show off your ride. It’s free and runs from 8 to 11 am at The Avenues mall here in Jacksonville. Plug-in hybrids are also welcome on Electric Avenue.

To get the best parking spot, I’d recommend arriving by 7:30 a.m. since Caffeine and Octane always fills up fast. When you arrive, tell the attendant you have an EV to display at Electric Avenue and you’ll be directed to the Central Lot. Participants are asked to keep their EVs on display until 11 a.m.

If you’re considering making the switch to electric, here’s your chance to talk to EV owners about their experiences and ask questions.

Drive Electric North Florida’s Electric Avenue at Caffeine and Octane is being presented by EV Rider, North Florida Clean Fuels and JEA’s Drive Electric

Related: Use this IRS.gov webpage to check to see if the EV or plugin hybrid you’re considering qualifies for a federal tax credit of up to $7,500.
