EV startup Canoo has released a new video for Veterans Day of its American Bulldog electric pickup truck, which is the same model it delivered to the Department of Defense as part of an evaluation contract.
The American Bulldog video comes just days before Canoo’s November 14 3rd Quarter earnings call where investors will be watching for updates on when the EV startup’s Oklahoma factory will start rolling vehicles off the line.
Canoo’s CEO said in the 2nd quarter call up to 30 vehicles might be assembled by year’s end if everything stays on schedule, with a run rate capability of up to 20,000 vehicles expected in 2023.

Friday’s video did not mention whether the American Bulldog would be going into production or whether it has any signed fleet orders for the Bulldog.
Canoo said during its 2nd quarter call that it’s reached a deal with another Fortune 100 company. A name wasn’t announced but since then a Canoo has been spotted at the Google campus, raising speculation about whether that might be the company Canoo was referring to.
Canoo also recently showed off its Lifestyle EV van in front of the Santa Cruz, CA headquarters of Zero Motorcycles, which makes a wide range of electric motorcycles.
