Here in Florida low speed vehicles, also known as LSVs or golf carts, are a big deal, and now Fiat wants in on the action. Fiat recently announced at Miami Art Week that its cute-as-a-button Topolino EV is coming to the U.S.
EV Rider first told you about the Topolino back in March when Fiat brought it to the 2025 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.

Before the announcement, a Fiat spokeswoman told EV Rider in March that if the Topolino were to be sold in the U.S. that the goal was for it to be based priced around $10,000. Keep in mind, that price estimate dates back to March 2025. Given all the back and forth we’ve seen on tariffs since then be sure to take that number with a big grain of salt.
The Topolino goes approximately 46 miles on a charge, which given it’s meant to only be a neighborhood runabout is perfectly fine. It has a top speed of just about 28 miles per hour, which also works here in the U.S. where the speed limit for golf carts and other LSVs is 25 miles per hour.

Perhaps the Topolino’s most delightful aspect is its style, which harkens back to the old Fiat 500 Jollys, which was a beach-buggy style car designed by Ghia that was popular in the 1950s and 1960s at some seaside resorts.
The Topolino has a curb weight of 1,069 pounds and a 5.5 kWh battery.
U.S. Topolino Will Be Offered As Fully Enclosed LSV EV
Although the Topolino I saw had open sides, the U.S. version will be available with proper doors, making it a fully enclosed vehicle for all weather use. That gives it a big advantage over traditional golf carts, and of course golf carts can’t begin to compete with the Fiat’s style.

It also comes with a heater and is expected to be available with optional ventilation or an open-air canvas top, depending on which trim is ordered.
While the Topolino’s use case is limited, in master planned communities, low speed vehicles are quite popular as second or third vehicles for doing stuff like running to the grocery store or neighborhood recreation centers.
Fiat CEO Olivier Francois is promising more details in 2026 about when we can expect to see the Topolino go on sale here in the U.S.
