Many EV Rider episodes are available to watch in 3D spatial video via YouTube VR and via 180-degree immersive video on Meta Quest TV. Occasional 360-degree videos are also being produced.
EV Rider In 3D Spatial & 360-Degree Video On YouTube VR
If you have a Meta Quest VR headset download the YouTube VR app from your VR device’s app store, then search “EV Rider channel.” At last check YouTube VR didn’t support copy/paste but if you want to give it a try, here’s the EV Rider YouTube VR 3D playlist link.
If you have an Apple Vision Pro download the Moon Player, then open YouTube via the Moon Player and search “EV Rider channel.” Watch the brief video below for more detailed instructions.
To get the best viewing experience make sure the highest quality setting is selected, which is “2160” or higher and enter immersive mode. EV Rider 3D videos will not display correctly in YouTube VR unless immersive is selected.
If you don’t have a YouTube VR-capable device you can still watch 3D episodes via “regular” YouTube by using inexpensive blue/red 3D glasses ($7.49 for 2 as of 8/28/24). Put the glasses on and select the EV Rider 3D playlist.
EV Rider On Meta Quest TV
Some EV Rider episodes are presented in an immersive 180-degree format on Meta Quest TV. Make sure the Meta Quest TV app is downloaded and installed on your Meta Quest VR headset. Then search “EV Rider” or click this link to be taken to the EV Rider Meta Quest TV channel.
Before playing Meta Quest TV videos make sure the “best quality” setting is selected to avoid a subpar experience.
360-Degree Videos
EV Rider may also occasionally post 360-degree videos on YouTube or Meta Quest TV if the story telling dictates it is the best format for a clip or episode. EV Rider YouTube 360-degree videos can be found here.
