Today Cadillac took the wraps off its Celestiq concept car, which is intended to give us a glimpse at what the upcoming production EV sedan will look like.
Cadillac’s flagship EV will be built on the GM Ultium battery platform and is intended to return the brand to what it was once known for: being the automotive Standard of the World.

From a styling standpoint the Celestiq shares some of the same cues as the new Lyric EV SUV. The production version will be hand-built at GM’s Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan.
It’s expected to debut as a 2025 model and carry a six-figure price tag. Cadillac hasn’t announced how much it will cost but automotive journalists have been speculating it might carry a price tag of $300,000 or more.
As you can see in the video, its calling card will be an ultra high-tech, super luxurious interior with top shelf materials and stunning internal and external lighting.
Because this is a concept, things like motor and battery sizes aren’t known yet but if Cadillac does go after such a high-end consumer, a range of well over 400 miles per charge is a safe bet.
